Members representing the black solidarity in south Africa held a demonstration on Wednesday in support of the Black Lives Matter at the U.S. Embassy in Cape Town.
The protesters were pushing for an end to police brutality against blacks in the United States of America.
A similar demonstration against police brutality in Dallas was marred by death of five white police officers , shot by a sniper over the death of two African-Americans, killed by police in Louisiana and in Minnesota.
“The BSE as a collective stands with all oppressed black people internationally, and sees the violence perpetuated against black people in America as a direct attack on black people universally,” said a protesters.
“These are their brothers, these are their people, and this reminds us of Marikana, this reminds us of Andries Tatane in Ficksberg, this reminds us of the continuing killing of our people.”

Since the beginning of the year 2016, more than 500 people have been killed by police in the United States; and the African Americans who represent only 13% of the population – constitute more than 30% of the killed.
