Fox Sports Italy has reportedly acquired the rights to show games in the next two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2017 and 2019.
The Pay-TV channel entered a deal with Lagardere Sports which has an exclusive media and sponsorship rights deal in place with Confederation of African Football (CAF) until 2028.
Subsequently, Fox will show all 32 matches, from the group stages, knock-out rounds and the final, from the 2017 edition in Gabon and the 2019 tournament in Cameroon.
