Kenya international Victor Wanyama has signed for Tottenham on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old has agreed a contract with the club until 2021.
He was on Thursday officially unveiled as a Tottenham Hotspur player.
Wanyama is Tottenham Hotspur’s first summer signing after he arrived from Nairobi on Sunday before successfully doing his medicals on Monday in London.
Wanyama made 85 league appearances for the south-coast club, scoring four goals.
Born in Nairobi, Victor left Kenya for Europe in 2007 when he joined Helsingborg in Sweden.
The midfielder signed for Celtic from Belgian club Germinal Beerschot for an undisclosed fee in July 2011 where he made 56 appearances.
At international level, Victor made his debut for Kenya at just 15 years of age and has since gone on to become captain of the national side.
