Cristiano Ronaldo has played down injury scare ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League final against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner walked off during Real Madrid’s training session on Tuesday, which was part of an open media day.
But speaking after the training session, Ronaldo insisted his limp was nothing more than the result of a dead leg.
“I feel good. I just had a small problem in the training today but in a couple of days I will be 100% per cent,” he told the press.
Cristiano Ronaldo added: “We’re on a good path. We finished La Liga well and we want to achieve a good victory on Saturday, which will define Real Madrid’s season. We’re confident we can achieve it.”
Ronaldo has not completed his last three training sessions, but boss Zinedine Zidane says Cristiano Ronaldo will be fit for the Champions League final despite a persistent thigh problem.
