Another Cameroonian footballer, Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, has collapsed and died less than 48 hours after the death of Patrick Ekeng Ekeng of Dinamo Bucharesti in Romania.
The female goalie of Femina Stars Ebolowa was announced dead by a statement from the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
The statement described her death as a ‘tragedy!’
It revealed that Christelle died during a match day six fixture between her club Femina Stars of Ebolowa and Louves Minproff in the FIFA Women First Division championship

Local media reports that Jeanine collapsed during the warm-up before dying a few minutes later.
‘‘Cameroon and the great family of Cameroonian football are in mourning. While waiting for an official report on this tragic incident that we lost a daughter, a sister, the President and the Executive Committee of FECAFOOT present their sincere condolences to his family and loved ones,’‘ the FECAFOOT statement concluded.
Her death almost immediately follows that of young Cameroonian international Patrick Ekeng Ekeng, who also collapsed and died whiles in action for his club side, Dinamo Bucharest in Romania.
