Leicester City fans poured out in the streets of Bangok, Thailand to celebrate the club’s historic Premier League title victory.

Some 1,500 supporters gathered to cheer the team outside the headquarters of King Power, the duty-free franchise that has made Leicester’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha one of Thailand’s richest men.

“I want to say to the world that Thai people can direct a football team and win the English Premier League. In the past, Thai people loved the big premier league clubs. But this time its different,” said a fan.

“I want to say thank you to all our fans because they have helped us to make a come back when we lost 2-0 at home. Without them it would be very difficult to win this trophy. And of course, the most important person, the owner,” he said .

It was a deserved win for the team after an exceptional season and they appropriately savored the victory.
