Africanews TV Launches Today
africanews, the first Pan-African, multilingual and participative TV news channel will be on air today in English and in French.
The CEO of Africanews, Michael Peters, will first hold a press conference in English with Deputy Chief Editor, Veronica Kwabla, at 10am (Pointe-Noire time).
There will be another press conference in French with Deputy Chief Editor, Nathalie Wakam at 11:30am (Pointe-Noire time.)
All the press conferences will be streamed live on Facebook and linked with 11 others cities: Lagos, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Addis Ababa, Luanda, Accra, Abidjan, Dakar, Kinshasa, Libreville, Yaounde.
There will also be a live tweet of the conference with the hashtag #AfricanewsOnAir
Africanews will go on air at 5pm (Pointe-Noire time) broadcasting live in 33 sub-Saharan African countries.
