The unity government in Tripoli is getting more support especially from the locals who have come out to show their solidarity with the union.
A group of people rallied in Tripoli expressing their concern over the state of the country and called for peace in Libya.
“We support the government of national union after its arrival last week. We hope that the agreement signed by the Libyan parties in Tunisia on 15 December will be put in place,” said one member of the public

“This Government is the one which will lead Libya in the future, if God wants, because we are tired. We had a government for Tobruk, one for Tripoli, almost three or four. We want a single government of national union,” another member added.
The Government of National Accord and whose members of arrived in Tripoli last week, has also secured support from the Libyan Investment Authority, the National Oil Corporation, and the Central Bank.
