Athletics governing body the IAAF’s Ethics Board chairman Michael Beloff on Monday provisionally suspended Athletics Kenya CEO Isaac Mwangi over a potential anti-doping violation.
Mwangi, who could not be immediately reached for comment, was suspended for 180 days pending investigation of a complaint made against him in relation to “potential subversion of the anti-doping control process in Kenya”.
Mwangi, who says he has done nothing wrong, stood down as AK CEO last week, saying he was anxious to have his name cleared.
