At least 26 people have been injured in a grenade explosion in Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura.
According to Police spokesman who claim it was a “terrorist” attack, the grenade was launched into an arch-crowded streets of the popular district of Buyenzi, the center of the Bujumbura at about 1:30 pm (1130 GMT) by a man riding a motorcycle.
At least four civilians, including a child, were killed and twenty others injured in a separate grenade attack over the weekend. Three days earlier, one person was also killed and five others wounded in a similar explosion.
The government and the opposition continue to blame each other for the “terrorist attacks” that have multiplied since the beginning of the crisis in Burundi.
