It is 200 days to the RIO 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro,and Brazil is finalizing their preparations for the greatest sporting spectacle, the Olympic Games. On August 5 the Rio 2016 Olympic flame will be lit, signaling the start of 17 days of sport.
Organizers of the Rio Olympics have said they are in the final stage of preparations, adding that work will be ready by this quarter.
Although, Brazil, the host country is known for violence, Organizers have assured participants of maximum security and safety during the game.
Despite the country’s gloomy economic environment, handlers of RIO games have justified the $5 billion for the construction of subways during the game.

The opening ceremony of the Games will take place on August 5 2016 .Athletics will run for just over two weeks before ending on 21 August.
Global athletes are currently gearing up their final training preparations as the various disciplines attempt to make the qualifying standards.
A total of 28 sports will be contested during the 2016 RIO Olympic Games, ranging from archery to wrestling and many more.
