Head of Protocol of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Abubakar, has been shot dead. According to information made public on NFF’s twitter account, Abubakr Ibrahim was gunned down at his home in Abuja.
He will be buried in his home town of Kaduna in northern Nigeria, and according to Muslim ritual , sources said.

His death coincides with the scheduled friendly match in Pretoria, South Africa, between the Super Eagles and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana . The match will be aired live at the request of the organizers.
