Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has rejoined AC Milan on a free transfer.
The midfielder, 28, who was suspended indefinitely by Bundesliga team Schalke in May 2015 for “lack of mutual trust”, has been training at the Milanello since September.
According to an official statement released by the Rossoneri, the 28-year-old midfielder’s contract has been officially deposited with the Lega Serie A, the league’s governing body, meaning he is now free to be involved in competitive games.
In his initial spell at San Siro between 2010 and 2013, the Ghana international made 100 appearances, scoring 17 goals.
